The highway and L/Z are both very visible from the
air. The white arrow indicates the beginning of the L/Z for
standard wind directions. The red arrow approximates the end of
the desirable
landing space, the top of the knoll. If you over shoot the
knoll, there is a small amount of space (20 to 30 yards) on the down
hill side for landing; however, there are obstacles that you cant
see from a low approach, and you will want to be on the ground
before you find the power lines.
